Mario's Goa . This compilation is the best work of Mario on Goa and consists of seven chapters beginning with his Early Drawings of life in the 1950's. He then moves to Growing Up, an illustrated social commentary on Goa. The next chapter Drawing Old Goa has Mario's historic illustrations which portrays life under the Portuguese in the 16th century. Sailing To Goa is a brief humorous interlude into the steamer journeys between Bombay and Goa. Chapter 5 - Place shows Mario's mastery of capturing the essence of a place. Personalities is part caricature and part portraits. The last chapter is Goa in Colour , which has processions and landscapes.
