Meet the 'vanishing species' Goan specimens who are making their absence felt from the Goan scenario and disappearing into oblivion at a very alarming rate, like the village baker (paderio) who is already something from a "Romantic Past". Wearing his typical 'toga' with an enormous basket (filled with freshly baked bread), precariously perched on his head, he wakes up the slumbering neighborhood at sunrise, as he whizzes past on his bicycle, through deserted streets, to the sound of either a tinkling bell or the earsplitting blasts of a squeaky plastic horn.
